Pieter is adding one more day to the workshop,
            Monday, October 2  10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Join Dutch master artist, Pieter Weltvrede for this rare opportunity to privately learn this Indian water color painting. Over the course of two days, students learn the centering power of Yantra, a high vibrational geometric form said to embody the energy of Mantra in the visual realm which helps to expand consciousness. This practice is a powerful tool to clear blockages and difficulties to anything in life for improved health, mental outlook and accessing happiness in new ways.

The Yantra is perhaps the strongest spiritual tool of sacred painting and is relatively easy to make. Creating Yantra helps to calm and focus your mind. Harmonize your brain's hemispheres and cultivate a personal meditation practice with this sacred art form. There is no artistic experience or expertise required to fully enjoy this workshop and leave with a beautifully aligned, coherent creation of your very own. This is a rare occasion in an intimate setting with a maximum of 12 students.

While we paint we will have the opportunity to listen to live mantra and Indian Classical music offered by Richard Russell and Xanna Harris-Seto.

A gentle yoga practice will also be offered for those who wish to participate.

Pieter Weltvrede has been studying the ancient technique of Yantra painting and his special east Indian wash technique for 30 years. His famous and now deceased teacher was Shri Harish Johari. The wash technique illuminates each painting with an inner light that allows a Divine energy to shine forth. Pieter has illustrated Harish's books "Ayurvedic Massage" and "Chakras". Amber Lotus publishes two calendars of Pieter's work annually.
